Angel Locsin is an actress known for her fierce and action packed movies. During It's Showtime's Tawag Ng Tanghalan, a contestant named Vince Edward Blaya caught their attention after singing 'Emotions' by Mariah Carey. After his performance, hosts Jhong Hilario and Anne Curtis interviewed him and asked him how can he pull off a whistle. What Anne meant was the whistle that Mariah Carey is famous for. Mariah often use it to reach a high note.
After Anne's attempt of doing the whistle, Jhong immediately said that Angel Locsin can do it. Having a "palaban" attitude, Angel said that she can do it. Then everyone burst into laughter for Angel did a different whistle.
