Working abroad is not an easy thing. However, some Filipinos still do it for the welfare of their family. No matter how hard it is, they will do everything just to make their family live the life that they want to have. Working abroad is a sacrifice that most parents do and homesickness is one of the things that makes it hard for some. However, watching their favorite Filipino celebrities or seeing them in person will surely make them happy.
That's why, ABS-CBN's The Filipino Channel held an event in Toronto, Canada on June 21, 2014. "One Kapamilya Go" is an all family day event that started on 11:00 a.m. at the Heritage Court of Direct Energy Canter, Toronto.
According to inquirer.net, there was also a concert held at Ricoh Coliseum with various Kapamilya Stars Angel Locsin, Vice Ganda, Maja Salvador, Xian Lim and Enrique Gil and comedians Tart Carlos and Vivieka Ravanes. Also the TFC 20 Ambassador of Goodwill, Mr. Pure Energy, Gary Valenciano.
During the concert, the Kapamilya Stars showcased their talents including Miss Angel Locsin.
On the video, uploaded by Joy Cabayanan, you'll see Miss Angel Locsin singing Katy Perry's hit song, 'The One That Got Away'. She was accompanied by dancers as she sings the night away.
