What does it take to be a hero? Wearing a costume? Having super powers? However, we are all aware that all of this only happens in movies or in television shows but, Miss Angel Locsin proved to us that being a super hero, there is no need to have super powers or a costume. All it takes is a heart of gold and compassion for others.
During the recent Bayaning Pilipino Awards,Miss Judy Ann Santos comments Miss Angel Locsin and considered her as a hero because of the things that she has done.
"Si Angel considered na siyang bayani dahil ang dami nyang natutulungan, pinupuntaha," Judy Ann Santos said while she was on stage with reporter Julius Babao and reality show host Robi Domingo.
Miss Angel Locsin has indeed helped thousands and thousands of lives and has inspired people by her good deeds. In an article of ABS-CBN News, they reported that Miss Angel Locsin went to Marawi City to visit the families that were affected by the war. She served as a volunteer in handing out relief goods and school supplies to the various families. Despite knowing that fact that the war was still on going, she insisted on going there and not letting the media know about it. It was late when they found out that Miss Angel was in Marawi.

Actress, Angel Locsin expresses sympathy to the evacuees of Marawi City as she visited the victims of aerial bombings and Marawi crisis in an evacuation center in Ma'had Alnor Al-Islaime, Block 8, Purok 5A, Ceanuri Subdivision in Tomas Cabili, Iligan City earlier," he wrote in his caption together with a photo of Miss Angel Locsin talking to the locals of Marawi.
Not only that, she is also an active volunteer at the Philippine Red Cross and in fact, she is a regular blood donor to the organization.
"Angel is a staunch supporter of Gabriela - an organization that addressed issues of human rights, poverty, violence and sex trafficking, among others-and the Philippine National Rec Cross (PNRC), where she currently serve as its ambassadress. As one of her notable charitable acts, Angel spearheaded an online shop called Shop & Share (alongside her co-Kapamilya celebrities, Kris Aquino, Anne Curtis and Dimple Romana) to benefit those who have been greatly wrecked by Typhoons Ondoy and Pepeng. Proceeds of the sales went to the PNRC's relief operations," according to the article of spot.ph.
Miss Angel Locsin proved that she is not just a hero in television but also in real life. She indeed someone to look up to!
