Angel Locsin became the matter of the moment when she transferred to ABS-CBN and it has been 10 years since that move. Feel old yet? Yes, it's true but it brings so much nostalgic memories when we first heard her say "TFC subscribers, ako po si Angel Locsin!"
It maybe upsetting because she moved out of her home network however, her journey as an actress continues. Angel has done blockbuster films and shows with Star Cinema and ABS-CBN which made her an award-winning, versatile actress of this generation.
Despite that along the way, she had a spinal problem, it did not stop her in making her fans proud of her. In the recent episode of La Luna Sangre, Miss Angel took televsion and even social media by storm when she was part of an intense fight scene with John Lloyd Cruz. The fight scene was one of the most awaited part of the episode because finally, people get to see Miss Angel back in action.
Speaking of action, Miss Angel is also known for being the best actress who portrayed Darna (according to Celia Rodriguez) because according to Ms. Rodriguez, she did not use any stunt doubles even though the harness is hurting her and she has the body for it. The Darna series was produced by GMA Network and received praises from it's viewers however, Angel as Darna passed on the "Bato" to Liza Soberano whom she wishes the teen star all the best. "Umpisa pa lang ito ng mga magagandang mangyayari sa kanya," Angel said in her interview with TV Patrol.
Aside from that, Miss Angel also portrayed various remarkable roles. Just like in The Legal Wife wherein she was Monica, the wife of Adrian (portrayed by Jericho Rosales) and had intense confrontations with Adrian's mistress, Nicole that was portrayed by Maja Salvador. Who would forget the line of Monica, "Akin lang ang asawa ko!"
Also, in one of Maalaala Mo Kaya part 2 episode entitled Robbed Motherhood moved the viewers by Miss Angel's proformance wherein she played the role of Samina who was accused of kidnapping a kid in which in reality, she raised him like he was Samina's own child.
These are just some of Miss Angel's works at ABS-CBN and we believe that there will be more Action, drama and even comedy filled movies and shows that she will be doing.
