Angel Locsin and Richard Gutierrez were the first ones to play Alwina and Aguiluz in the original Mulawin. Aside from that, they also worked in the films: "Let the Love Begin", "The Promise", and "Mano Po 5". 

Through the films that they were able to do, a lot of people quickly thought that they were dating and that they are more than just friends. However, Angel and Richard dismissed the rumors and stated that they aren't really together and that they are just friends.
