Angel Losin and Richard Gutierrez were once again tasked to work on a single project. Right after Richard Gutierrez transferred to the Kapamilya network, he was instantly given a lead role in the ABS-CBN's fantasy horror series 'La Luna Sangre'. However, this project is far different from the projects that they've worked together before.
Before, Angel and Richard or ChardGel for short used to play the roles of couples who are destined to be together. Their previous projects showed their sweet side. But then, in La Luna Sangre, they are working as rivals. Rivals who'd do anything and everything just to get rid of each other.
In fact, on the September 25, 2017 episode of La Luna Sangre, Jacintha Magsaysay [Angel Locsin] and Gilbert Imperial [Richard Gutierrez], had the most awaited confrontation! However, this isn't the confrontation about their real identities, but rather a confrontation about their field of work.

In the episode, Gilbert Imperial was upset that Jacintha Magsaysay didn't come on time for their appointment. What made him even more furious is that Jacintha didn't even bother calling to inform him that she'd be late.
When Jacintha finally arrived in their meeting place, all she said was, "I apologize nasira kasi ang sasakyan ko eh."
Gilber Imperial didn't accept her apology and even told her that he hates it whenever people are making him look like a fool. "Ang ayoko sa lahat, yung pinagmumukha akong tanga."
Angel Locsin then walked pass him and poured a wine on her glass and said: "Hindi ko sinasadya. at least ngayon, alam ko na madali pala maginit ang ulo mo. Kailangan din nating gawan ng paraan yon"
Gilber then replied by saying: "Ganon lang? Siguro nga talagang di mo pa ko kilala!"
Suddenly, Jacintha turned around, but Gilbert thought that she'd attack and with his quick reflexes, he stopped what Jacintha's about to do, only to find out that she'd just hand him the receipt of the tow service as a proof that she really experienced trouble while reaching their meeting place.
Gilbert was furious with what Jacintha's up to and because of what had happened, he's now doubting Jacintha's whole being.
