The Gawad Lasallianeta 2017 has finally happened and the deserving celebrities were finally honored. One of the awardees of the event was none other than Angel Locsin. Angel Locsin was given the Most Outstanding Female TV Actress for her role in the MMK Episode 'kotse-kotsehan'.
On her Instagram, the actress posted a photo of the awards that she received and thanked the organizers of the event for giving her such recognition. She even stated that it is an honor to receive such award. She also apologized for not being able to attend the event since the taping of her newest project ended in the morning.
She wrote: "Thank you so much Gawad Lasallianeta for the Most Outstanding Female TV Actress recognition for my role in MMK's "kotse-kotsehan" ?? sorry hindi po ako nakapunta kasi inumaga na ho kami sa taping ?? but congratulations po sa event at salamat po uli for this honor. Maraming salamat po sa MMK team for giving me an opportunity to play a muslim role. Nakakalungkot na habang nagtitaping ho kami, nangyari naman ho ang gulo sa Marawi ?? Sa mga kapatid po nating Muslim, at sa mga naging biktima nang gulo sa Mindanao, alay ko po ito sa inyo ?? kasama nyo po akong nagdadasal sa isang mapayapang Mindanao. Salamat rin po Direk Dado Lumibao, ate Lindsay, Ms. Roda, ate Niña, benson, ate jd, Dimples, Ynigo, Jane, & to Tita Malou Santos for making this possible. Sa mga teachers at estudyante, mabuhay kayo!????"
