The box office director Direk Mae Cruz-Alviar revealed that she pegged Angel Locin's look in her previous role in the MMK episode 'Blusa' in 2009, for Kathryn Bernardo's beggar-look in one of the scenes of Can't Help Falling in Love.
She revealed through an Instagram post that it was Angel Locsin's past character was the one that inspired Kathryn's cute beggar look in her blockbuster film with Daniel Padilla.
On Direk Mae Cruz-Alviar's Instagram, she posted a photo of Angel Locsin taken from her 2009 MMK 'Blusa', along with the caption: "My peg for Gab's look in her baliw scene in #canthelpfallinginlove 😂"
We can still recall that it was back in 2009 when Angel Locsin played the remarkable role of a UP graduate who had a hard time finding a job. Since she failed to look for a job, she became a stripper and later on became a beggar, asking for alms in the street.
