La Luna Sangre or the Blood Moon is a 2017 Philippine horror-fantasy drama television series directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, starring Kathryn Bernardo, Daniel Padilla, Richard Gutierrez, and Angel Locsin. This is the third installment of Lobo and the sequel of Imortal.
The show is about Malia and Tristan who has one goal and that is to kill Sandrino, the king of vampires. Although the scenes of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla are getting more and more intense because of their stunts, the people's attentions are still with Jacintha Magsaysay [Angel Locsin], and Gilbert Imperial [Richard Gutierrez].
Lia Ortega, the first character of Angel Locsin, was killed during the first week of the show but then, she left everyone in total shock when she returned in the primetime series under the name Jacintha Magsaysay, the political strategist of Gilbert Imperial.
However, her comeback in La Luna Sangre just brought confusion to the viewers. Some viewers can't help but wonder who she really is. People got even more confused when she started investigating who Gilbert Imperial is.
Through the investigation, she found out that Gilbert Imperial's mother is Maria Villalobo and so she decided to visit Gilbert's relatives, his grandparents. Although her only intention was to know a few details about Maria Villalobo, the Villalobos became hysterical and started screaming and telling her to leave their home because their daughter has long been gone.
