From the previous episodes of the fantasy series La Luna Sangre, the lady in red was seen in the forest finding the hermit to whom Barang give the book and hide it. Barang that was being portrayed by the veteran actress, Shamaine Buencamino, is the Supremo's Gabay, the person who has the ability to visualize the future and the prophecy.
Hence, now that Barang was now already dead, Jacintha Magsaysay got the power and ability to be a 'Gabay'; whom she got when she killed Barang.
But along the way in the middle of her journey on finding the hermit and the book, Jacintha Magsaysay encountered a kid whom she never knew that this kid was the young Sandrino. She only finds it out when she already found the hermit and show to her memories. And she saw the kid she encountered and shock as it is the young Sandrino.

However, what makes her angry is to saw how Supremo Sandrino Villalobo merciless killed his own half-sister, Samantha Imperial. By what she saw, she is now very eager to end the leadership and the evil plans of Supremo.
After their conversation, Jacintha Magsaysay encountered again the young Sandrino. She can not express how mad she is because of Sandrino but then when the kid hugged her after being lost, Jacintha realizes that the kid is not the one to blame because he didn't know what he did in the future.
They came back to the hermit and he was shocked that the lady in red didn't kill the young Sandrino. Jacintha Magsaysay told the hermit that the young Sandrino is not their enemy. But the Supremo and not the kid.
Finally, she got the book and remember what the hermit reminds her that the journey she took was was very dark so let her heart be the light.
