Angel Locsin and Maricar Reyes became close friends ever since the fantasy series, Imortal, started. Maricar Reyes as Samantha Imperial has been one important character that the series had that's why we were able to watch her even in La Luna Sangre.
As she was portraying the role of Supremo Sandrino Villalobo's half-sister, and an ally of Jacintha Magsaysay, Maricar Reyes Poon and Angel Locsin has a lot of scenes together the reason why they really enjoyed each other's company. But then, Samantha Imperial has come to her end as she was mercilessly killed by the Supremo.
However, even though her character in La Luna Sangre is now already dead, still she did not forget her close friends on the set. Just recently, Angel Locsin uploaded her Instagram story. And in that Ig story, she thanked Maricar Reyes for the delicious cake they were currently eating.

And it is such a sweet gesture from Maricar because she never forgets to send treats to her friend even if her character already ended in the series. Although fans didn't expect that Samantha Imperial was now killed by Supremo because they think that Samantha and Jacintha is a good tandem for ending the evil plans of Supremo Sandrino.
As you can see in the story, Angel Locsin is happily eating Maricar's treat and didn't mind if she's in on diet or not for we all know how celebrities work hard for their diets to maintain their physically fit body and perfect figure. But Angel is an exception. She was still able to manage and you can really see how she appreciates Maricar's effort to send her cakes.
