Maricar Reyes' character, Samantha Imperial, was one of the most loved characters in ABS-CBN Primetime Bida's La Luna Sangre. People loved Samantha Imperial so much to the point that they even made a tandem for Samantha Imperial and Jacintha Magsaysay, played by Angel Locsin, called 'Tha-tha'.
However, the 'tha-tha' tandem came to an end after Samantha Imperial disguised herself as the Lady in Red to protect Jacintha Magsaysay from Sandrino, Richard Gutierrez. As a result, Sandrino killed his own half-sister Samantha Imperial.
