Malia Rodriguez and Tristan Torralba have recently confessed their feelings towards each other. It was that one day when they decided to act like normal people. However, it appears that their relationship would be a tragic one!
In the previous episode of La Luna Sangre, Jethro told Jacintha Magsaysay and Malia Rodriguez that the prophecy has a continuation and that Malia isn't destined to kill Sandrino, but rather his brother, Tristan Torralba, who also has the cursed ink on his arm.
At that point, Malia was already in disbelief. She believes that she couldn't kill Tristan, for she really loves her. She kept on insisting that such thing would not happen but then, Baristo told her that prophecies don't lie.

For her questions to be answered, Jacintha decided to bring Malia Rodriguez to the Hermit who gave her the book. They pleaded the old Hermit to show them what's bound to happen in the future. However, it was again, something that both Malia and Jacintha didn't expect!
They saw Tristan killing Malia Rodriguez!
Jacintha asked the Hermit how such thing would happen since Malia is already powerful. However, the hermit simply told them that what they witnessed would still happen in the future if they won't do anything in the present.
Obviously, it was Malia Rodriguez who's still in disbelief of what she saw. Malia told Jacintha that she would do everything to stop what's bound to happen in the future.
However, Jacintha told her that if she really cares about the people around her then she should do what she has to do - kill Tristan.
The question is, is Malia willing to kill the love of her life, just to save more than a thousand lives of innocent people?
