Now that Malia Rodriguez and the rest of the La Liga Unida and Moonchasers that Tristan Torralba is the man with the curse ink that was being told in the prophecy, they both agreed that they will protect and save Tristan from transforming into a vampire and became Supremo Sandrino's ally.
However, Supremo Sandrino told Tristan that he is his long-lost brother that's why he can't kill someone who had the same blood as his. So, Tristan confessed to Malia what the Supremo told him. The reason why Malia is so eager to help him out.

Malia seems to be the 'chosen one' who is ready to protect and fight for the man she loves. So, she urged her allies to do the same thing with her. Tristan learned something about her parent's identity through Erin's help and there they also discovered that in the said picture there was Magnus.
Meanwhile, as Jake Arguelles was seen capturing the monster, he also finds out that the monster he is trying to capture is his mother, Veruska who turned out into a monster after she was bitten by Supremo.
Also, Jacintha suggested that she will go to the hermit to gather information about what will happen in the prophecy again and Malia insisted that she will accompany her. As they went together in the forest and finally met the hermit, the chosen one Malia Rodriguez witnessed in her own eyes how Tristan Torralba killed Malia Rodriguez in the future.
Upon knowing what the prophecy will be, Malia is now torn between her love to Tristan and her mission to fulfill the prophecy. But then she assured everyone that she will make a right decision. She will not let them down.
But Erin is now decided to kill Tristan before he transforms into a monster just like what happened to Sandrino and this also makes him decide to quit being part of La Liga Unida. But Prof T assured Erin that he will do everything just to protect Tristan.
