We've all witnessed how Angel Locsin cared for the people in Mindanao. When the war sparked in Marawi City, Angel Locsin quickly visited the people of Marawi, not just to send help but also to know how they're doing.
On June 2017, Angel Locsin visited a refuge in Baloi, Lanao del Norte where she distributed food packs and school supplies.
During that time, Angel Locsin became the ANGEL for the people of Marawi. The award-winning actress expressed her sympathy to the evacuees of Marawi city, which is a huge matter that time because they have been suffering from a huge crisis.
But then, did you know that this isn't the first time that such thing happened?

The people of Mindanao are already fond of Angel Locsin. In fact, two years ago, she made the people of Mindanao feel her presence when she vocally protested in the brutal killings of two Lumad leaders and their civilian companion in Lianga, Surigao del Sur.
Angel Locsin flew all the way from Manila just to interact with the indigenous people.
Aside from that, she also joined in the call #StopLumadKillings and even used her social media accounts to express her grief and anger.
Not just that! Back in 2009, in an exclusive interview, Angel Locsin took the opportunity to educate herself and all the people who are watching, about the current situation of the civilians affected by the war between the military and the Muslim revolutionary group Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF). The interview was conducted the day after she arrived from her three-day trip in Munai Evacuation Center in Lanao del Norte.
Angel Locsin then stated that time that despite being told not to visit the place for security purposes, Angel Locsin still chose to visit the people of Mindanao along with some of her friends.
This just goes to show that Angel Locsin isn't just an award-winning actress, but is also a real life Angel who's more than willing to help people even if it means putting her life in danger.
