On January 6, the sixth season of Pilipinas Got Talent was finally aired on National TV.
The confirmation of the show was first done on the June 3 episode of It's Showtime, where one of the hosts of It's Showtime, Billy Crawford, confirmed that auditions will be held.
After a couple of months, the auditions in different parts of the Philippines began, leading to the judging of the contestants' performances.
Among the judges of the sixth season of Pilipinas Got Talent are Robin Padilla, Vice Ganda, Boss FMG, and the one and only Angel Locsin. Meanwhile, Billy Crawford remains as the host of the show, along with his co-host Toni Gonzaga.
But then, who would have thought that the comeback of the talent search in the Philippines will be warmly welcomed by the televiewers?

On January 8, the ABS-CBN had just announced that the first two episodes of Pilipinas Got Talent Season 6 was warmly welcomed by the viewers.
In an Instagram post the ABS-CBN wrote, "Maraming salamat Kapamilya sa inyong mainit na pagtanggap sa #PilipinasGotTalent"
A photo of their ratings was also attached, wherein the January 6 episode of Pilipinas Got Talent garnered a total of 36.8% ratings. The first episode dominated the ratings after the show from the other network only garnered a total of 18.7%.
The first day wasn't the only one that dominated the night! In fact, the January 7 episode garnered 40.8% while the show from the other network only garnered 14.5%.
Meaning, the pilot episodes of Pilipinas Got Talent dominated the weekend TV ratings!
