Have you heard of the term finger-tutting? Finger tutting is the type of dance that doesn't include your whole body, but only your hands. The finger tutting dance allows the performer to express their thoughts or the thoughts of the song through the movements of their hands and fingers.
The word tutting is a street dance style based on angular movements. And so finger tutting is another form of dance but this time, the only thing that's involved is our fingers.
Before, finger tutting isn't really popular until people started to study it and later on start doing it in different contests.
In fact, even the Filipinos are doing it! In the popular Philippine franchise of Got Talent, a group who called themselves 'reconnect', decided to show what they got and so they tried their luck in Pilipinas Got Talent season 6.
The group whose age ranges from 19-27, is consisted of four members, three men, and one woman.
Reconnect expressed their emotions using their fingers, to the tune of Sam Concepcion's hit song called 'Dati'.
At first, it was pretty obvious that the judges, especially Vice Ganda, were confused about what they're trying to do. But after a few more movements, they finally realized that what they did was pretty extraordinary and quite impressive.
The performance ended and the judges can't help but laud the group for such an extraordinary performance.
