On Monday, January 29, Angel Locsin renewed her contract with ABS-CBN. The 32-year-old award-winning actress didn't just renew her contract but she also gave hints on her upcoming projects that were included in the contract.
"Malapit nang maluto, tinitimpla na ngayon," she told members of the press after the contract-signing. "Target namin ang year na 'to [for] both."
Locsin added: "Pero sana hindi lang siya magsabay para matutukan. I'm very happy. I'm happy to have work na mahal ko at medyo matagal pa tayong magkakasama."
According to Angel Locsin, her upcoming series will be produced by Dreamscape.

"I am very excited kasi first time kong makatrabaho under Dreamscape," she said. "Matagal ko nang wini-wish na makatrabaho, sila dahil super nice sa akin sina Sir Deo (Endrinal, Dreamscape head) and excited naman akong makakakilala ng ibang unit kaya iba 'to. Ibang challenge naman 'to para sa akin."
However, that's not just the highlight of her contract signing. Aside from the fact that she received tons of congratulatory messages from her die-hard fans, there's one message that stood out from the rest - Mega Star's message.
Mico Del Rosario posted an update on Instagram about Angel Locsin's contract signging, to everyone's surprise, the Mega Star Sharon Cuneta left a comment on Mico's post, congratulating Angel Locsin and voicing out how much she loves her.
Her comment reads: "Congrats, dearest Angel! I love you! Nog just because you're you but also because you always go out of your way to show me I am special to you. Big hug!!!"
The fans of Angel Locsin were quick to thank the Mega Star for appreciating Angel Locsin. Due to her comment, the netizens can't help but hope for a project of them together.
Meanwhile, Angel Locsin has also revealed that for the year 2018, they would start working on her planned movie with her long-time leading man Richard Gutierrez, meaning, 2018 will be a year for Angel Locsin and all the fans of Angel Locsin!
