The annual Film Ambassador's Night was finally held. On February 9, 2018, the FDC or the Film Development Council of the Philippines celebrated the success of the Filipino artists and also recognized all their hard works at the Film Ambassador's Night that was held in Sampaguita Gardens in Quezon City.
The event itself was held to recognize the greatness of the Filipino filmmakers, actors, movies, and artists behind the greatest films and shows in the industry.
Among the directors who were recognized were Lav Diaz, Louie Ignacio, Mikhail Red, Raymund Ibay Gutierrez, Sheron Dayoc, Sari Dalena and Kiri Dalena, Fritz Silorio, and the one and only Brillante Mendoza.
Full-length indie films were also recognized in the event. However, the fans consider Angel Locsin's moment as the highlight of the event.
Angel Locsin and her movie with Vilma Santos and Xian Lim called 'Everything About Her' were recognized on the said gathering.

In an Instagram update made by the Team Angel PH, it was stated that the award-winning and versatile actress were recognized her win in the57th Asia-Pacific Film Festival. This was after she bagged home the Best Supporting Actress award on the said gathering that was held in Pnom Penh, Cambodia.
In the footages posted on Instagram, Angel Locsin was seen flashing a huge smile while walking on the red carpet with class. She was also spotted shaking hands with the respected people in the industry and once she reached the stage, she achieved another milestone in her career as she accepted the plaque of recognition at the Film Ambassador's Night.
Meanwhile, fans of Angel Locsin congratulated her for both her win and the recognition that she got from the said event.
