As soon as the sixth season of the talent competition, Pilipinas Got Talent started, it dominated the weekend night ratings and beat its rival at the other networks in which the Saturday episode, February 3, with the official hashtag #PGTWowMagic got a 37.5% ratings compared to the rival Pepito Manaloto who only got 18.4% ratings.
Sunday episode, February 4, with the official hashtag #PGTPanggulo, was able to reach the highest rating compared to the previous episode, in which they got the 43.3% rating. These rating became the highest rating for the weekend shows in history. Truly that the Pilipinas Got Talent is continuing to set an all-time high rating because the show was able to meet the audiences' expectations.
Hence, last Saturday is such the luckiest day of one of the groups who took their chance and tried their luck in the said talent competition. Thus, the Nocturnal Dance Company from Quezon City's who looks so proud being a Filipino as they wear a 'Barong Tagalog' and a rattan or reeds-made iconic conical hat, has received the 'Golden Buzzer' made by judge Robin Padilla.
Moreover, one of the highlights of 5th-week episodes of the Pilipinas Got Talent was the 'Wow Magic' auditionee that gives so much laughter to the crowd especially the PGT judges who also participates to Jeptha Calitong's impressive magic tricks. Hence, who would forget the 18-year-old Antonio Bathan Jr. who shared his talent in spoken word poetry that gives the judges especially Angel Locsin the 'kilig' feeling because of his poem composition.
