At the Guild of Educators, Mentors, and Students (GEMS) Hiyas ng Sining Awards, the Kapamilya Network once again dominated after bagging home 17 awards for different celebrities and different shows!
Among the celebrities who won awards were Angel Locsin, Piolo Pascual, Maja Salvador, Rk Bagatsing, Dimples Romana, and even the newscasters in the network.
Apart from that, the shows in the network also bagged home awards. The ABS-CBN took home the TV station of the year for two consecutive years and other awards like the Radio Station of the Year and the Best AM Radio Station awards for its AM radio station, DZMM Radyo Patrol 630, and Best FM Radio Station for its FM music and entertainment station MOR 101.9.

But then, the highlight of the awards night was the way the best friends Angel Locsin and Dimples Romana supported each other after they bagged home awards for their performances!
Angel Locsin bagged home the best actress award in a single performance for her Maalaala Mo Kaya stint, while Dimples Romana won a recognition for her excellence in her performance in “The Greatest Love.”
In a video posted on the Instagram account of @teamangelph, Angel Locsin and Dimples Romana were seen hugging each other while they were seated at the events place. Cherry Pie Picache even chitchatted with them.
Dimples Romana and Angel Locsin's friendship should be everyone's inspiration! They aren't just good looking, but they are also doing excellent in their chosen craft!
We all need a Dimples Romana or an Angel Locsin in our life who would support us in all of our achievements!
