In celebration of the International Women's Day and the International Women's Month, we, the Team Angel, made a few articles to honor the empowered women in the country who have different advocacies and are using their fame and influence for a good cause.
Among the celebrities who were honored were Iza Calzado, Heart Evangelista, Angelica Panganiban, Marian Rivera, Kathryn Bernardo, Lea Salonga, and of course, Angel Locsin! There are lots of empowered women in the industry and it's quite impossible to name them all!
And now, it seems that people aren't done yet with thanking these empowered women for their bravery and for standing up for their rights.
In fact, an Instagram user has recently shared an artwork that is both inspiring and jaw-dropping. The artwork shows Angel Locsin wearing the Darna outfit while holding a newspaper. The other artwork showed the same Darna but with a different background. This time, the artwork showed what seems like ruins of a mosque.
It was then when the netizens realized that the Darna paid tribute to Angel Locsin's wisdom and influence, while the ruins of the mosque behind signify her Marawi visit.
