It's not a secret that ChardGel fans or the fans of Angel Locsin and Richard Gutierrez's team up rejoiced after they reunited in La Luna Sangre. Although they were enemies in the show, people still love to see them working together again.

In an interview in 2017, Angel Locsin compared Richard's acting skills 10 years ago and today: "Kung gaano siya ka-dedicated noon 10 years ago, parang nag-doble pa ngayon."

14 years ago, GMA-7 paired up Angel Locsin with Richard Gutierrez in the series called Mulawin. It was a fantaserye wherein they played the roles of humanoid birds.
But then, did you know that they were once cast as twins?
It was in Click, when Richard played the role of Enzo, while Angel played the role of Charley.
Before Dennis Trillo became the third will in the ChardGel love team, they were once paired with the installment of Love to Love that was entitled 'Kissing Beauty'.
When Mulawin was launched in 2004, it became an instant hit among the viewers!
Former ABS-CBN President Charo Santos-Concio even admitted in her book 'My Journey: The Story of an Unexpected Leader' that it was Mulawin that allowed the GMA-7 to take the lead in terms of ratings.
Due to that, GMA decided to do a sequel film that was entitled: Mulawin: The Movie and it was an MMFF entry in 2005.
