It seems that through the years, everything just gets better and better for the Kapamilyas. Instead of being outshone by their competitors, the Kapamilyas outshines them all in terms of receiving awards in different award-giving ceremonies.
Just recently, the 26th Golden Dove Awards finally happened and just like what most people expected, the Kapamilyas dominated it once again!
The ABS-CBN Network and its celebrities were able to bag home a total of 27 awards in the 2018 KBP Golden Dove Awards.

The ABS-CBN won its ninth Best TV Station Award while the DZMM took home the Best AM Radio Station (Metro Manila). Apart from that, newscasters and other TV programs like It's Showtime and Ang Probinsyano also one the awards Best Variety Program and Best TV Drama Program respectively.
Meanwhile, Angel Locsin was praised for receiving another Best Actress for Drama Program award for her exceptional skills in the "Maalaala Mo Kaya" episode "Kotse-kotwsehan" while Piolo Pascual bagged home the Best Actor for Drama Program for his performance in the MMK Episode "Upuan."

Best Radio Field Reporter – Zhander Cayabyab (DZMM 630)
Best Radio Newscast Program – Gising Pilipinas (DZMM 630)
Best TV Children’s Program – Matanglawin
Best TV Sports Program – Sports U Ikaw Ang Panalo
Best TV Magazine Host – Kim Atienza
Best TV Public Service Program – Red Alert
Best TV Public Affairs Program Host – Jeff Canoy
Best Television PSA – Tulong na Tayo Para sa Marawi
