It appears that after years of keeping a distance from the limelight, the Diamond Star Maricel Soriano will finally have a remarkable comeback in the industry. Though she's set to make a comeback, she's still hoping that everything would go smoothly.
In an interview, Maricel Soriano talked about the success of her film with Paollo Ballesteros and Solenn Heussaff called 'My 2 Mommies', she said: "Ang aim ko ngayon makapagpasaya ng mga magulang at saka ng mga tao."
She also added that her intentions are pure and that all she wanted to do is to make people happy and to see people laughing because of how great the film was.

On that same interview, the 53-year-old Diamond Star also talked about her upcoming teleserye in the ABS-CBN Primetime bida where she'd be working with the finest and greatest stars in the industr namely, Angel Locsin, Janice de Belen, Eula Valdez, Ryza Cenon, Tirso Cruz III and Arjo Atayde in the series 'The General's Daughter'.
Before she moved to the Kapamilya network, the last teleserye she worked with was in 2014 entitled 'Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real' together with Dingdong Dantes and Lovi Poe.
And now, in her upcoming teleserye, Maricel Soriano was quick to praise her co-star Angel Locsin. This will be the first time that she'd work with Angel Locsin and yet she already praises her for her excellence.
“Maganda ito. Siguradong maiibigan niyo. At napakaganda ho ni Angel dito. Panoorin niyo po siya.
“Mahusay yung bata,” she said.
Maricel Soriano also talked about how stunning their casting is! She said, “Ganda ng casting, puro mahuhusay silang lahat."
Meanwhile, they are scheduled to start their look test and are just waiting to be called for their taping schedules.
