The FlipTop battle emcees have different ways of spitting out their lines. They can do the written, freestyle, or even the old school style. Wtitten allows the emcee to spit lines that he had memorized while freestyle is a way of spitting out an on the spot line, and of course, the old school is mostly considered as freestyle but with instrumental.
