8 Most Unforgettable GMA Shows That Completed Our Childhood!

These days, most teleseryes and movies released by different networks and different productions are no longer complete without the kidnappings, killings, and a lot of sufferings, plus, people tend to make fun of the fantaseryes of today because of how they added special effects into each scene.

Back in time, fantaseryes are truly popular in the showbiz industry. Both the ABS-CBN and the GMA network are releasing fantasy series that could either satisfy us or make us believe that some people would still choose to do the right thing to protect others.

In fact, a netizen has just recently revealed the best and the most unforgettable shows in the Kapuso network.

A certain Facebook user named Edgy Alcasid took to social media to share a collage photo of the best and the golden age shows of the GMA Network. There were nine shows, but of course, one of those served as a part of the meme.

Here's the list of the most unforgettable shows in GMA:

1. Marimar

In 2007, GMA Network made a Filipino version of the 1994 television series of the same title. The Filipino version of Marimar was top-billed by none other than Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera.

2. Asian Treasures

A 2007 action and adventure series that was top-billed by Angel Locsin and Robin Padilla, the stars who can effortlessly take down the bad guys.

3. Darna

It was in 2005 when Angel Locsin played the role of Darna. A lot of ladies had already played the role of Darna and yet her portrayal of Darna is still one of the best and most unforgettable.

4. Zaido: Pulis Pangkalawakan

It is a Philippine television drama science fiction series starring Dennis Trillo, Aljur Abrenica and Marky Cielo.

5. Captain Barbell

Captain Barbell is a Filipin comic superhero who's quite similar to the  American Superman, Captain Marvel or Shazam, and Thor created by writer, Mars Ravelo and artist Jim Fernandez. 

6. Mulawin

A 2004 series that gave birth to the love team of Richard Gutierrez and Angel Locsin who portrayed the lead roles of Aguiluz and Alwina, respectively.

7. Majika

Apart from being paired with Richard Gutierrez, Angel Locsin was also once paired with Dennis Trillo and "Majika" was one of their iconic shows.

8. Encantadia

Of course, no one can ever forget about the Filipino fantasy series of Encantadia. The GMA Network made a remake of the said fantaserye of the same title but still, nothing can ever beat the riginal that was top-billed by Iza Calzado, Diana Zubiri, Sunshine Dizon, Karylle Yuzon.
