It is true that celebrities and well-known personalities in the Philippines are spending their own money to buy food and other goods that could help the people who are affected by a calamity. Some celebrities would even take time to repack the goods for the people. However, there are times when some celebrities already stop after repacking the goods and would no longer take time to personally distribute it for the people.
While others end up stopping after repacking the goods, there's Angel Locsin who even spends most of her time buying the goods, repacking it, and even personally distributing it to the people who are in need. She doesn't care if she'd get wet because of the heavy pour of rain, for as long as she manages to help people, she'd do it.
In fact, that is what Sir Eric John Salut has revealed on his latest tweet.
On Twitter, Eric John Salut wrote: "Kapag ganitong mga sakuna, may isang taong unang pumapasok sa isip ko, si @143redangel. Hindi ko malilimutan during Ondoy how she mobilized everyone in social media to help the victims."
As it turns out, instead of staying at home and staying dry, Angel Locsin chose to go out and help people despite the bad weather.

On Twitter, she even posted a few words, asking people to stay safe. She also revealed a few details on how people could send goods that could help the people who are affected by the calamity.
"Hi guys... it’s raining non-stop... hope everyone is safe and dry ??"
"(1) For those who are thinking of giving hot meals & other essentials, Last night, may estimated 500 evacuees sa Kasiglahan Village Senior High School Montalban, Rizal... I don’t have the total head count kasi medyo magulo pa last night...but you could check & see for yourself 🙂"
"(2) We avoided flooded areas by passing thru commonwealth litex. This route is recommended if you are planning to visit Burgos Elementary school evacuation center rin. Thank you and stay safe!"
Sir Eric John Salut's tweet is just a proof that it's not only her fans who appreciate her kindness but also the people whom she work with. Truly, Angel Locsin is the real-life Darna that we need in our lives. She's the lady who won't be able to sleep at night until she manages to help the people who are in need.
This isn't the first time that Angel Locsin had helped the needy. In fact, when Ondoy hit the Philippines, Angel Locsin didn't mind crossing a flooded street just to reach the people who badly needed their help.
What Angel Locsin does behind the camera slowly restores everyone's faith in humanity.
