Philippines' most iconic superheroine, Darna has a new face and that face is Liza Soberano.
The long wait is over for Darna fans for she is going to fly again. According to TV Patrol, Liza Soberano was overwhelmed when it was confirmed that she is the new Darna.
Angel Locsin has transfered the baton to Liza Soberano however, she has another surprise for Liza. Miss Angel gave her Darna comics to Liza in which she believes that it will help Liza just like it helped her.
The Darna comics was given to Miss Angel Locsin when she portrayed Darna for the first time when it was produced by GMA Network. Miss Angel Locsin has to drop the role because of her spinal accident.
"Sobrang happy. Nakakakilig po. Kase hindi ko naman ineexpect na ganun yung dupport niya sakin and of course I know how much she love the role as well... Pero yun nga, Im so happy that she's happy with their choice for choosing me as well," Liza Soberano said.
