Hereos are the ones who people look up to. They call them whenever trouble is around. However, many believes that heroes only exist in movies. Little do they know that there is always a hero lying inside of us.
Angel Locsin was the host of Bayaning Pilipino Awards on August 2, 2017 at the Dolphy Theatre.
Afterwhile, she was interviewed by ReelxReal about Filipino Heroism. Since she portrayed the Philippine's most iconic superheroine, let us know what are her thoughts about heroism.
According to Miss Angel Locsin, what inspires her when it comes to Filipino heroism is the good things that filipinos do to others. Through the good deeds that others are showing or doing, it restores Miss Angel's faith in humanity.
"Well ako everytime kase may naririnig ako na ganun, parang, narerestore niya yung faith ko sa humanity. Kapag nakakarinig ka ng mga mabuting ginagawa ng kapwa natin Pilipino sa kapwa natin Pilipino rin," Miss Angel said.
"Mas mari-realize mo base dun sa kwento nila at pinakita nila na hindi selfish yung pagkakagawa nila. Binigay nila yung buong buhay nila, binuhos nila lahat ng passion nila para lang makatulong sa kapwa, at nakaka-inspire yun," she added.
Miss Angel also hopes that people would see the efforts of every Filipino who sacrifices in order to help others. Some may not see it because she said that they are camera shy or not seeking for media attention however, these people proves that what they are doing is genuine.
