MUST READ: Top Female Celebrities Who Aren't Afraid To Let It All Out On Social Media!

Some believe that celebrities are all about fame, fortune and their sponsored OOTD's.

However, some celebrities use their fame to give us enlightenment and reality checks about the different current events and issues. They also use their voice for people to know about their advocacies.

Preen.inquirer.net has disclosed who are these local female celebrities who expressed their thought about different current issues on their own social media platforms on 2015.

ANGEL LOCSIN

LGBT related issues were rampant and Miss Angel Locsin has something to say about it. On her Instagram account, she posted a screen shot photo of the message of Fr. Martin James, SJ regarding the issue. 

"Para ito sa ibang tao dito. Nakakahiya naman na ganito ang paguugali ng mga "maka-Diyos" kuno. Pls read the message before reacting. You're entitled to your own belief but pls don't be too pushy. I'm not gay pero I'm starting to get annoyed sa mga kung makahirit akala mo sila lang ang anak ng Diyos. Don't act like the sole & absolute authority of morality. Hindi gugustuhin ng Diyos na self righteous at judgemental tayo. Kung Kristyano kayo, isinasabuhay nyo sana yan at hindi lang ho kayo kayo correct nang correct ng mga nakikita nyong mali sa ibang tao. Anong feeling na may nag-ko-correct din sa inyo? Kaya relax lang. Don't be hypocrites. Again, hayaan na natin si Lord ang humusga. Pease don't justify na nagshe-share lang kayo ng scriptures but you're actually forcing us to comply with your subjective standards. Ang tunay na maka-Diyos ay mapagmahal sa kapwa. Hay... Ok, last na ito," she wrote on her Instagram post. 

Miss Angel Locsin gave us a reality on a check on what does it mean to be a God-centered person.

LEA SALONGA

The Voice Judge, Lea Salonga also posted on her Twitter account on Independence Day.

"Our country is not yet debt-free, poverty-free, crime-free, or corruption-free. So what are we free from exactly and why do we celebrate it?" Miss Lea wrote on her Twitter account giving us something to ponder on.

BIANCA GONZALEZ-INTAL

Well-known host, Bianca Gonzalez-Intal used her Twitter to give some people a pat on the back about the issue on the homophobic comments on the previous Pacquiao VS. Mayweather boxing match.

"Puzzled by those throwing 'gay' insults. Uhm, 2015 reality check, how is calling someone gay an insult," she wrote on her Instagram account.

They are only 3 among other celebrities who used their voice to emphasize or give something to think about the issues that were going on that year. 

Saab Magalona and Alessandra De Rossi also used their voice to give out their opinion about their personal issues. Of course, they said it in a polite manner. 

Well-known personalities are not just for endorsements or showing up in films. As a public figure, they are a huge influence to the people and whatever they say, does matter.
