Going to formal events, ladies usually prepares long gowns, ball gowns or a cocktail dress. However, nowadays, some celebrities find it more appealing (and comfy) to wear men inspired clothes and when we say men inspired clothes these are tuxedos, pants, polos and even barongs.
In an event on August 2015, let's look back on the 5th Philippine Fashion Ball where women were asked to wear men inspired clothes in honoring Joey Samson, the featured designer for the event.
ABS-CBN Lifestyle featured these women who embraced this different style:
1. ANGEL LOCSIN
Angel showed off some skin with her tuxedo jacket-like outfit and pairing it with a skirt. Not only that, she also let down her long and silky hair to add some classy feel to her look.
2. PHOEMELA BARANDA
Mixing and matching menswear became fun for Phoemela for she gave an urban and trendy vibe with her gray tuxedo jacket, white top and polka-dotted pants. And of course, she did not forget the animal print clutch bag that really matches her style.
3. AGOT ISIDRO
If there is one color that is dominant in every women’s closet, I bet that color would be white. Just like Agot, who wore a white tuxedo suit that made her look young and fresh. Who wouldn’t love to wear white?
