The Promise is a 2007 film that was directed by Mike Tuveria and was top-billed by the most admired love team in the early 2000's Angel Locsin and Richard Gutierrez or ChardGel for short.
The movie was simply about the love story of a woman named Andrea and a man named Daniel that sparked in the sugar cane field where they work for. It was supposed to be a simple love story until the man and woman who belongs to the upper class of the society came into the picture and ruined their love story. The antagonists came in and forced Andrea and Daniel to part ways, leaving Andrea with no choice but to be with the man who belongs to the upper class.
