In an interview with ABS-CBN's PUSH, Angel Locsin has revealed that portraying Jacintha Magsaysay in the TV series, La Luna Sangre is one of the most challenging roles that she had ever done. Angel Locsin had already bid farewell to her character through an Instagram post. It was then when the netizens theorized that Jacintha is Malia's future.
On the same interview, Angel admitted that she's going to miss her character.
“Mami-mis ko si Jacintha. Isa siya sa pinaka-challenging at exciting role na nagawa ko sa buhay ko. Gusto ko yung hindi mo siya mabasa kung good or bad ba siya. For me Jacintha is a hero, ‘yung handa siyang i-sacrifice ang buhay niya para sa ikabubuti ng lahat.”

She also thanked everyone who supported her character from the beginning until the end.
“Ako’y nagpapasalamat sa lahat ng sumuporta sa moonstone trilogy especially dito sa La Luna Sangre, sa story nina Kathryn and Daniel, kaya maraming, maraming salamat at sana patuloy ang maging suporta nila kasi madami pang magagandang mangyayari sa kanila.”
And to those who are asking what's next for Angel Locsin in the year 2018, she stated that she has a movie project with Richard Gutierrez, she is a judge in Pilipinas Got Talent, plus, she'd have her own teleserye.
“Yes may movie kami with Richard, dahil tapos na ang La Luna Sangre sa akin, baka may chance na kami na ituloy ito. And new teleserye for 2018 naman.”
