Netizens all over the country praised the award-winning and versatile actress Angel Locsin for saving the Korean Contestant from being embarrassed in ABS-CBN's top-rating reality show Pilipinas Got Talent Season 6 on Saturday, January 13.
The Korean National who was identified as the 20-year-old Jiwan Kim had been living in the country for years and so he decided to try his luck on PGT despite the existing language barrier.
However, everything didn't start too well since Robin Padilla, one of the judges, refused Jiwan's request to assist him in a magic trick performance.
According to Robin Padilla, he wouldn't assist him if he couldn't speak Filipino.

It was Vice Ganda who first asked Jiwan if he can speak Tagalog, to which Jiwan replied with, “No because they didn’t teach it at the international school.”
Jiwan then asked Robin Padilla if he could use him for his magic tricks, but then Robin Padilla said, “Look at the back. It says ‘Pilipinas Got Talent.’ You are in the Philippines. You should speak Tagalog first before you could use me,” Padilla said.
Due to Robin Padilla's remarks, he became a trending topic on social media wherein some netizens called him rude and racist for what he did.
Meanwhile, Angel Locsin, another judge in Pilipinas Got Talent gained praises after she saved the day.
After Robin Padilla refused to assist him in his trick since he couldn't speak the Filipino language, Angel Locsin decided to handle the situation. The award-winning actress told Jiwan that she'd teach her how to politely ask Robin Padilla using the Filipino language.
Angel Locsin then asked Jiwan to speak the words one by one.
What Angel Locsin did gain praises from the netizens. In fact, she even became a trending topic online wherein some people said, "Be an Angel Locsin in this world full of Robin Padilla"
One netizen wrote, "After watching tonight's PGT episode, I'm no longer sure how many hands down should I give to Angel Locsin. I mean, kahit saan, nangingibabaw talaga ang kabutihan ng puso niya. True to her name, she is an Angel!"
Another one wrote "People got to know Angel Locsin deeply in this kind of show like PGT6. It reveals more how genuine her heart and how intelligent she is.."
Netizens further stated that Angel Locsin once again proved that she's an angel sent from the heavens.
