It was 2007 when the on-screen partners, Richard Gutierrez and Angel Locsin, also known as 'ChardGel', have decided to went on their separate successful careers. Angel Locsin transferred to Kapamilya Network while the latter decided to stay on its respective network. Hence, after 10 long years of waiting, the former love team seems now reunited as Richard Gutierrez became a Kapamilya artist back in 2017.
Their first project where they worked together is in the ongoing fantasy series, La Luna Sangre, in which the greatest antagonist in the said series, the 'king of the vampires' Supremo Sandrino Villalobo was being portrayed by none other than, Richard Gutierrez. However, the versatile actress' character, Jacintha Magsaysay and the mysterious 'lady in red', already bids goodbye early in January 2018.
Just recently, Angel Locsin successfully renewed her contract as a Kapamilya artist last January 29, in line with it, she drops some hints about her upcoming TV and movie projects in which she was asked for any details. The actress told in one of her interviews that if her upcoming movie is now finalized, it is for sure that she and Richard will reunite in their own movie.
“Siya rin naman ang first choice ko kasi, di ba, noong nag-transfer siya dito sabi ko ‘eto na yung opportunity ko para makatrabaho ko siya ulit. Iga-grab ko talaga ‘to,” says Angel.
