This is Angel Locsin's first role in the Kapamilya network. But then, this is also the same role where she earned her nomination for the Best Performance by an Actress category at the 2009 International Emmy Awards and a recognition at the 2010 National Commission for Culture and the Arts of the Philippines.
2. Jillian Mendoza in 'Only You, year 2009
Angel Locsin starred in the remake of the hit Korean series 'Only You'. She played the role of Jillian Mendoza a budding chef who was stuck in a love triangle between Diether Ocampo who played the role of her childhood best friend and Sam Milby who got her pregnant.
3. Lia Ortega in Imortal, year 2010
Since Lobo has received a lot of praises and favorable feedback, they decided to make its sequel that was entitled 'Imortal' that started airing in 2010. After she played the role of Lyka, Angel Locsin played the role of Lyka's daughter, Lia Ortega, the so-called chosen wolf who fell in love with their clan's biggest enemy, Mateo, the chosen vampire.
