It looks like they just confirmed that their reunion movie was totally for real! One of Richard Gutierrez's bucket list was to work with his former on-screen partner, Angel Locsin, again. Thus, they already worked together in the fantasy series, La Luna Sangre, of course, it is way different if they work in their own movie.
Richard even confessed that he really missed working with Angel Locsin. He missed her being around, and Angel's being genuine in the set was one of the reasons why she is such a good on-screen partner. He even shared what Angel told him in one of their conversations, "Chard, ang tagal na nating magkatrabaho, pero parang pag nagsama kaming dalawa, parang walang nagbago," Chard says.
Otherwise, in one of Angel Locsin's interview right after her renewal of contract, she was asked to drop some hint about her upcoming projects and she said that as soon as the project was already finalized, Richard Gutierrez will always be her first choice.
The actress even added that it is now her opportunity to reunite working together with her former on-screen partner on which she has been away for almost 10 years. Angel was just so happy that even if their character in the fantasy series La Luna Sangre was not meant to make their fans feel the 'kilig' towards them since Jacintha and Sandrino were two different race and each other's greatest enemy, still, fans find it 'nakakakilig'.
Nevertheless, let's all look forward to the greatest movie comeback of 'ChardGel'!
