We all know for a fact that the sixth season of Pilipinas Got Talent ended on a high note with the show still garnerning high ratings and taking over the weekend ratings defeating their rival shows from the beginning up until the end.
The season ended with the spiral pole dance act of Kristel de Catalina bagging home the grand prize and the title.
And now, despite that the show has already ended, the show still received an award at the 16th Gawad Tanglaw Awards. Pilipinas Got Talent won the best reality show. Another sign that the show was a success!

Apparently, it's not only Pilipinas Got Talent that gained recognition at the 16th Gawad Tanglaw Awards. In fact, the Kapamilya network received 30 awards in the television category, including the best drama anthology for "Maalaala Mo Kaya," best drama series for "The Good Son," and the teleserye ng dekada for "FPJ's Ang Probinsyano."
Apart from that, one of the judges of Pilipinas Got Talent, judge Angel Locsin gained recognitiin for her performance in MMK. Angel Locsin won the Best Actress in a Single Performance for her excellence in MMK's 'Kotse-kotsehan'.
