What Did Angel Locsin Learn From Her Characters On MMK?

Maalaala Mo Kaya is a drama anthology being aired on ABS-CBN every Saturdays. Charo Santos-Concio is the host and it is indeed the longest-running drama anthology in the history of Philippine Television and Worldwide as well. 

The aim of the show is to present the stories of a normal Filipino and share it to the world. It depicts the real life stories that will bring lesson to others. Because of this, the viewers are always anticipating the different episodes of the show. 

It is hard to portray the characters on the show especially that it is based on true-to-life stories. One of the actresses who stars on these episodes is Angel Locsin. 

When she transferred to ABS-CBN on 2007, her first ever show on the Kapamilya network was with Maalaala Mo Kaya. 

She starred on the episode titled 'Pilat". She got her first ever acting award under the 22nd PMPC Star Awards for TV which was the Best Single Performance By An Actress.

In 2009, Angel had her seconde episode on MMK called 'Blusa'. It is one of the most controversial episodes of the show since it tackles the story of a UP Los Banos summa cum laude graduate who ends up applying as a Gues Relations Officer (GRO).

Few more episodes followed after the ones mentioned above. In 2010, she was in Litrato and playing the role of Jenna. 

2015 she had Plano and Watawat which were the tribute to the Fallen 44 of SAF. 

In 2017, she starred in Picture and Kotse-kotsehan a two-part special of MMK. The story revolves around a lost child. 

When Angel was asked what was the greatest lesson that she learned from all these episodes she said, "Everytime na gumagawa ako ng character sa MMK inaalay ko talaga yun sa letter sender.

Ito ang kwento ng karaniwang tao na kagaya ko, Nakakarelate ako."

Yan yung salita ni Queen @143redangel na hinding hindi ko makakalimutan nakakaiyak na napapangiti ako kase nakakarelate siya.
