Apparently, Angel Locsin didn't really wish to be an actress and was only discovered through the help of a talent scout whom she first thought was creepy because he has been staring at them for too long. However, in an article released back in the days, Angel Locsin herself revealed that she was really an aspiring model.
It was in year 2000 when she joined the Generation East Model Search because she badly wanted to be a model, and becauase of her beauty, she won and was hailed as Ms. Generation East.
She wrote: "It was in 2000 when I joined and won Generation East Model Search (before kasi sa Ms. Barangay lang ako sumasali. hehe.).
