That is what Angel Locsin has been doing for the past years. The award-winning and versatile actress always makes sure that she's doing something for the benefit of others, especially during the times when a calamity strikes.

Recently, the people of Marikina, Rizal, and other places in the Philippines are seeking help to be rescued and fed after their homes submerged into flood due to the non-stop pouring of heavy rain caused by the tropical storm Karding.
Instead of relaxing and staying indoors, Angel Locsin rushed to help the evacuees in Rizal and Marikina who badly needed something to ease their hunger. The actress visited the evacuation centers in Marikina and even teamed up with the barangay official so Marikina to make sure that they'd be able to send help to the flood victims.
One of the officials named Maria Joy Rita Galiga who took care of the evacuees took to social media to share her photos with Angel Locsin. The photos were posted with the words: "Natanggal ung pagod at puyat ko sa ilang araw na ulan.salamat sa super bait at walang ARTE na si angel locsin na nagbigay ng kanyang tulong at panahon sa mga evacuees ng malanday.maraming salamat po"
She also posted another set of photos wherein Angel Locsin was spotted interacting with the Barangay officials of Malanday, Marikina to know what they will be doing for the evacuees.
Meanwhile, the flood victims see Angel Losin as the real-life Darna and "Artista ng Masa" for not hesitating to help them in times like this. Also, they believe that her presence means a lot to them for it help give them hope that something better's bound to happen.
