It was 2007 when Angel Locsin and Richard Gutierrez did their last movie project together as a loveteam. Their last project, 'the Promise' became a blockbuster movie of the year and was supported by their massive number of solid fans not knowing that this was the last movie wherein they can watch their two celebrity idols worked together.
As they both went on there separate successful careers, Angel Locsin transferred to Kapamilya Network while Richard Gutierrez stayed as a Kapuso artist.
But this throwback video clip says how happy Angel Locsin is when she saw a 'ChardGel' fans in front of her while she is currently performing her birthday celebration dance number in the longest-running musical variety show, ASAP way back 2008.

She then expressed how grateful she is to work with her then on-screen loveteam Richard Gutierrez. Angel Locsin said that she is not the Angel Locsin you see today if it is not because of Richard Gutierrez. Because as a loveteam, the two needs to cooperate with each other so that your loveteam be able to be an effective tandem.
Hence, she also remarks that even if they are on a different network, they are still friends and is always there for each other no matter what happens. Angel Locsin also revealed that they planned to produced their own movie together just for the sake of the fans.

But even if 9 years had passed, ChardGel fans are still eager to see their celebrity loveteam. And it is just a proof how fond they are to Angel and Chard.
